Description

The objective of this course is to introduce participants to the basic concepts of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The course consists of a theoretical part (A) and a hands-on part (B) :

A. The basic concepts of ICT in Business: Information Systems, Hardware, Software, Data Management, Telecommunications

B. The use of ICT for Personal Productivity and Problem Solving: managing, analysing and presenting data; searching for information on the WWW.

Participants are expected to master the basic computer skills (use of Windows and word processing). Participants who do not master these skills, should acquire them autonomously before the start of the course.
